You're invited to a Party Fit for a KING!
Living Water Church's Vacation Bible School is always an adventure! With custom content and scripture-driven principles, we're inviting the kids of our community to get to know the God who crafted them in His image and designed good work for them to do!
VBS 2021's theme is "Party Fit for a King", and it's all about the God who gives good gifts. God is the Author of both hospitality and celebration, the Creator of all good things, and every good and perfect gift comes from Him. Of course, God's best gift to us is Jesus! When Jesus returns, God, the ULTIMATE Host, will throw the biggest party ever for His Son, and we'll be part of it, if we are His people.
Are YOU ready to join the party??

What Is Vacation Bible School?
Vacation Bible School is part of our Student Ministry, here at Living Water. As a church, we are committed to discipleship, and this is one of many ways that we invite children and families to join us on a path toward Christ-likeness. We know that discipleship happens best in community, and the kids at Living Water are a great example of community!
Many churches host a Vacation Bible School. You may be familiar with the idea of VBS, and there may be many similarities to the way we do VBS here at Living Water, as well as some differences. Here's some basic info about our way of doing it:
VBS will be outdoors again this year. Please plan accordingly! We encourage everyone to wear sunscreen and bug spray, especially those who have sensitivities.
A parent/guardian must accompany their child(ren) throughout VBS. If you are unable to accompany your children, please contact us to make alternate arrangements. We'd love for your children to join us, and we'll be happy to accommodate your needs as best we can.

Many churches host a Vacation Bible School. You may be familiar with the idea of VBS, and there may be many similarities to the way we do VBS here at Living Water, as well as some differences. Here's some basic info about our way of doing it:
- Vacation Bible School is a multi-evening event held for one week each summer. In 2021, our dates are June 28 - July 1st.
- VBS at Living Water is an all-hands-on-deck, church-wide extravaganza! Many of our adults serve as volunteers, both in preparation for VBS and during the week of VBS.
- We mostly write our own curriculum. Our VBS Executive Committee works hard to create and establish a biblical theme, and then we develop curriculum based on those decisions. We write our own scripts for the drama, and our Youth Group makes up our cast.
- Each day of VBS is different, with a new memory verse, a new Big Idea, and new activities for the kids to participate in.
VBS will be outdoors again this year. Please plan accordingly! We encourage everyone to wear sunscreen and bug spray, especially those who have sensitivities.

These pictures are from VBS 2020. Dozens of kids joined us in person and online last year for all the news that is news from Israel's Exodus from Egypt, as told by our W.I.L.D. Action News broadcasters during Wilderness Escape VBS 2020!
